FUNDAMENTALS

Our Beliefs - Convictions - Boundaries - Restrictions - Declarations

In accordance with the complete Word of God and the Apostles' Creed, our convictions are as follows:

I.   Apostles' Creed (modified):

We believe in God the Father, omnipotent maker of heaven and earth.  We believe in Jesus Christ, the Father's only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and who suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried in the tomb, descended into hell taking the keys of death and hell, He rose again from the dead on the third day. Then, after forty days of being seen alive by many witnesses, Christ was lifted into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.  We believe Jesus Christ is returning soon to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit who sanctifies the true believers.  We believe in the Holy Kingdom of Christ--the Body--the Church, and the communion of sanctified believers.  We believe in the remission of sins (through the sacrificed blood of Jesus on the Cross), the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

II.   The Bible is the Word of God. It is absolute truth expressed as: literal, prophetic and expressive of the unchangeable heart of GOD, supremely authoritative and expressive of the absolute love of GOD. The Bible is unchangeable (not to be edited) to this degree: As the Bible was originally written, whatsoever it states, so it is. We acknowledge the need for translation into other languages, however,  modernization and Bible editing should be minimal. If a printed version of the Bible does not fit this standard, we choose not regard that version as Scripture.

II.a.   In response to the supreme authority of the Bible: When we experience difficulty, disruptions, curses, illness and loss, these are the result of man's fall (Gen. chapter 3) and should not to be blamed on any assumed error of the Bible nor of GOD in any way. Instead, GOD is seen as above all circumstances. Additionally, we are called to seek GOD while increasing our dependency on GOD to lift us above the pains of life. We are to give GOD every opportunity to rescue us out of them by faith and submission to the Scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit. When pain, loss and testing come, including delayed prayers, we seek GOD in continual prayer with a repentant heart, patiently awaiting our reward by faith.

III.   The Bible is the living Word of God. We accept the canonized 66 books of the Bible in this manner: Since 1881 the 66 canonized books were deemed as the acceptable Word of God. In addition to this, when two or three other portions of Scripture are witness of itself (which is similar in word, motive, message, and which honors GOD as Sovereign Lord) in agreement with the Holy Scriptures and the Spirit of GOD, then this is a better rule of canonizing than the reliance of editors, scholars, popes and bishops. Therefore, we do hold to the 66 accepted books only, but are also open-minded toward the removed books (Apocrypha books contained in the 1560 Geneva Bible, 1611 KJV Bible, and the Ethiopian Bible) as long as such removed book adheres to the above minimum requirements. We believe there is no reason to rely on men to exercise canonizing authority outside of the correspondence of the rest of the Body of Christ without accountability of those who are full of the Holy Spirit and gifted in the Discernment of the Spirit of God.

III.a.   We do not hold to the Old Wine. The Old Wine is representative of this: that when Christian leadership of previous times, attempted to fill gaps of their misunderstandings of the Word of God it resulted in blind men leading many astray, which was the same evil retaliation that was against Jesus Christ prior to His crucifixion. And because of such damages prior to the Reformation period  of the 16th century, such acts resulted in much bloodshed and loss of souls. Following the Reformation until the time of Prince James, king over Britain (1567-1625), the religious leaders again mistreated and condemned to death many of those who desired to purely translate the Bible into English. Such murderous acts were in contrast to the Bible's firm stance on the sanctity of Life and Truth, and to esteem God as the supreme Judge in all matters of life and death. As we discover the New Wine principals of the Scriptures, we will rely on the guiding of the Holy Spirit for guidance as GOD leads and teaches us.

IV.   Additionally, in response to the ever-changing teachings of scholars, we choose to rely fully on the leading of the Holy Spirit, along with His teaching and within the reliable empowering of the Spiritual gift of Discernment and through prayer. The Old Wine's answer to misunderstandings of the Word of God many times resulted in extraction, replacement, editing, and modernizations of portions of the Bible. We believe it is our duty to see the truth in this matter and we are not limited to the Old Wine's ways and means of handling the Scriptures through any such desecrations of GOD's Word. To judge GOD's Word is not our place. We choose to simply walk according to it, in obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

V.   Concerning the New Wine: We are a New Wine Brotherhood and an Eleventh-Hour mission and ministry. We have been endowed with the Anointing of Power from on High (Acts 2:8) to a degree that brings results which have been witnessed and will continue. We are here to give all glory, honor, power and dominion to GOD the Father and to our Lord and King: Jesus Christ, the Messiah. According to the will of GOD.  Amen.
